Los Angeles based Singer/Songwriter Ryan Nealon has an amazing talent when it comes to songwriting, his lyrics are beautiful and original and his vocal performance is catchy and professional which definitely shows how skilled he is. “Lights Out” is the 3rd single off of Ryan’s debut EP. This song is an anthem for self love and self respect, which was inspired by an emotionally abusive relationship. The atmospheres of this track are so catchy and the melodies are so enjoyable. ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Ryan Nealon, 25, is a singer/songwriter from San Diego, CA and is based in Los Angeles, CA. Nealon has received a Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) for Ethnomusicology – Jazz Studies with an emphasis in Jazz Voice.

As an unsigned artist, Nealon has over 300,000 streams and over 10,000 followers on social media. Along with media content, Nealon has booked countless successful shows at renowned venues all across the United States such as Rockwood Music Hall in New York City and The Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles. Nealon has also collaborated with several artists of notoriety such as Alisan Porter, Brooke Simpson, and India Carney from NBC’s “The Voice,” Noah Barlass and Matt Bloyd from “The Four,” and has sung background vocals for artists such as Matoma.

Nealon has also been featured in several highly regarded music blogs such as The Drunken Coconut, Buzz Music, Unclear Magazine, and Digital Tour Bus, and has been featured in the San Diego Union Tribune, The Daily Bruin, and The Los Angeles Times. Nealon’s most recent credits are singing Background Vocals on the Matoma tracks “Sunday Morning (feat. Josie Dunne),” which was released on November 9th, 2018 under Parlophone Records–a subsidiary of Warner Music. Nealon’s independent release “City,” recently passed over 120,000 streams and gained a mass amount of positive critical reception and press including a feature on Apple Music’s “Breaking Pop” playlist.
