“I wrote this song after a friend of mine, who was born with a heart condition, passed away. I’m a traveling musician, I graduated high school and pretty much left home to chase a dream.. I missed a lot of time at home. Got a call that my friend passed away while I was playing a show out of state. Had to drive 9 hours after my show to make it to his funeral in time.. still wearing the clothes I wore the night before at my bar gig.”
