The talented artist THE BLOSSOM shared with us her new single “Kill My Mind,” and upon hearing it for the first time we really knew that we should share it with you. it’s one of the most beautiful and charming songs that we have ever heard.
The song comes with a professional and beautiful video shot by Natalie Falt (behind videos for Grimes, Billie Eilish), the visual uses dance & movement as an expression of the varying phases of heartbreak (created by the movement artist Dance-Lawyer).
The lyrics are very catchy and so original and written well. We have enjoyed the melodies and tunes of this record. To be honest with you, THE BLOSSOM’s voice is a piece of heaven and her performance is more than professional and it’s very unique and enjoyable.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
I’m an independent South-East Asian immigrant raised artist known as ❀ “The Blossom” ❀ Based between NY, Sydney Aus and LA.
I am releasing my debut EP Buttercup in May 2019. Most of the tracks were produced with my father, as well as other close friends. I also self produced and wrote a lot of my EP. I explore a lot of my struggles with my anxiety, depression, growing pains, insecurities and narrative as a young POC woman through my music and writing.
I just wrapped up Future Classic’s studio residency program in LA, spending a month collaborating with various artists out of their studios with Dropbox. In the past I have received support from I-D, Milk, Document Journal and more.
