Rotana was born and raised in Saudi Arabia, with a big following in the Middle East, she is one of the only female musicians from the Arab region. Her music revolves around the feeling of a “delayed adolescence” learning boys, sex, self-governance, addictive patterns and freedom.

Enter the demo love series: a collection of five love songs as raw, unfinished demos. “Bad Weather” is the third of the five. The demos are intentionally unfinished. “I wanted to share my process. I wanted to show myself and the world that things can be messy and unfiltered but still so powerful. This is also an act of freedom for me.
